Thank You for an Amazing 2018
As 2018 ends, the entire team of Amanda Tindall Photography wishes to thank everyone that we have worked with this year. What a year it has been. We have taken pictures inside Six Flags, while flying in a helicopter, on a barge, hopping a flood wall on the east side of the Mississippi, in the night with real stars, in the blazing sun, in the rain, in the snow, with live rainbows, and with an entire softball team, just to name a few. Whether it is in the city or the country, we have covered it all.
2018 has brought us new awards, growth, and countless new friends. We have expanded our equipment and style to bring off-camera flash. This technology has allowed us to create amazing sunset photos and night shots that we were unable to accomplish just one year ago, but oh my how they make amazing pictures.
The investment to create these images was not cheap. However, this investment has rewarded us on its own. We are pleased to announce that we are, again, winner of the Best of the Knot. Two-time, back-to-back champs!
Sticking with the award theme, we passed out some awards on our own: Lexia (Top Draft Pick 2018), Alessandra (Rookie of the Year), Hannah (Silver Slugger), and Amanda (MVP); Nick had his own accomplishment, but thats a whole other story.
As you can see, our team has expanded again. We are pleased to introduce Lexia to Amanda Tindall Photography. Having known Lexia for around ten years, and seeing her love for photography, she was an easy choice for the team. Lexia started photography while in her junior year of high school. Since then, she has done everything from family sessions, to senior sessions, to weddings. Upon being asked to join the Amanda Tindall Photography team: “I was so happy when Amanda asked me to start working with her. I was excited to learn new things and to work with such a great team.” While she might be the quiet one of our group, do not be mistaken, she is busy clicking away, and her work is amazing!
We would like to apologize for not keeping with the monthly blog. We are going to continue our blog series, but with a different approach. Instead of monthly blogs, like previously intended, we plan on doing them once a season: Spring, Summer, Fall, and Winter. In 2018, when the wedding season kicked into high gear from August through October, there was just no time to sit down and write a monthly blog. The best intentions of Nick, right?
We are also excited to announce we will be at the Breese Journal Bridal Show held at Hidden Lake Winery on January 20, 2019, at 11:00 a.m. Please come visit us and meet Amanda, Nick, and Lexia. We will have our wedding albums, new acrylic on metal canvases, and photobooth all there for everyone’s viewing. Join us and enter into a contest to win a free engagement session!
As the years go on and our business grows, and we continue to win awards, we all are humbled and honored to be part of so many special days. Your photographer ends up being a very important part of your wedding day, and it brings us such delight that we are invited to do so many weddings. The pay also helps. While 2018 has been amazing for us, 2019 will be just as great. We already have forty weddings booked for 2019 and are booking into 2020 already! Just growing with the number of weddings we do is not enough, we strive to grow as a team and as photographers. As previously mentioned, we added the off-camera flash technology, but in 2018 we also added many new lenses to ensure we get that amazing shot we are known for from positions and distances we could not previously do. We also started to fly this year. With the addition of drone photography at the end of 2018, we have expanded our ability to create new images that we previous could not do, and wow are they some amazing shots. 2019 will also see continuing advancements for us, including online hosting of all images, the offering of client gallery apps, and cinematography on the horizon (but that is for another blog).
Again, we thank you all, and as always,
Love, Amanda Tindall Photography
